Ashley Naftule is a writer & theater artist based in Phoenix, AZ. He’s a resident playwright and Associate Artistic Director at Space55 theatre. He’s written and produced four full-length plays: Ear, The First Annual Bookburners Convention, The Canterbury Tarot, and Radio Free Europa. A fifth play, Peppermint Beehive, will be premiering at Space55 in Spring 2021.

As a freelance journalist, he’s been published in The AV Club, Bright Wall/Dark Room, Pitchfork, Bandcamp, Vice, Phoenix New Times, Longreads, Echo Magazine, Arizona Republic, Vinyl Me Please, Under The Radar, Consequence of Sound, Aquarium Drunkard, Inverse, Popula, Spiral Nature, Outline, Invisible Oranges, Tucson Weekly, and March Vladness.
